Sad news has emerged from Nyahururu after a 12-year-old boy killed his elderly grandmother after she denied him money for airtime. As per reports from the Nyahururu area in Nakuru County, the 12-year-old boy who went to stay with her grandmother pounced on her and ended her life in a fit of rage. Confirming the incident were Nyahururu and county police commissioner Gacheri Jackline, who revealed to members of the media that the teenager is currently being detained by the police over a connection to the death of 61-year-old Lucy Muthoni. The unfortunate incident was confirmed after Lucy Muthoni went missing a few days after she was arrested coming from Nyahururu market, where she does her business. The rather happy Lucy had planned to connect her house with tap water and had set some money aside.
